🛠️ Behind the Scenes

4GOAL is a passion project representing over 100 hours of dedicated hobbyist development. The technical journey was a challenge in itself:

1. Prototype: Originally built in Python 3.12 using the Pygame library.
2. Conversion: The prototype was ported to the classic 8-bit hardware with the assistance of Gemini, refining the logic for the C64 environment.
3. Language: Fully implemented in C, using the CC65 compiler.
